KKDİK Regulation: Updated Substance Registration Deadlines

The registration deadlines under the KKDİK Regulation (Turkish REACH) are determined based on the annual manufacturing/import tonnage and specific hazard classifications of chemical substances. The deadlines, updated as of December 23, 2023, are as follows:

• December 31, 2026

  • Substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 1000 tonnes or more per year.
  • Substances classified under Aquatic Acute 1 (H400) and/or Aquatic Chronic 1 (H410), manufactured or imported in annual quantities of 100 tonnes or more.

• December 31, 2028

  • Other substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 100 tonnes or more per year (not covered by the H400/H410 criteria above).

• December 31, 2030

  • Other substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 1 tonne or more per year.

These deadlines were updated through the regulation amendment published in the Official Gazette on December 23, 2023.
